Greater Manchester Workforce Collaborative Summit
Greater Manchester Workforce Collaborative Summit 2021
Building on the success of the first virtual Workforce Summit in November 2020, the Workforce Collaborative is planning to launch a rolling monthly programme of bitesize sessions from April 2021. The monthly programme will be a valuable opportunity to continue to share best practice and learning across our health and care system, as well as supporting the continuous development and networking within our workforce community.
How to get involved
If you are interested in sharing best practice, a research project or pilot, or lessons learned from your own organisation, locality or sector, we want to hear from you.
We are looking to members of the Workforce Collaborative to commit to delivering a standalone session to form part of our monthly programme. Each session will run for around 1 hour to 90 mins.
Contributors will be supported by our summit team to deliver their session; with facilitation tools, technical support and attendance at the session.
When considering whether to submit a proposal, colleagues are asked to focus on one or more of the following from a workforce perspective:
- Lessons learned from the pandemic
- Supporting our system to recover, including growing our workforce in the priority areas
- The wellbeing of our workforce
- Delivery of the People Plan for Greater Manchester
Applications are now open for submitting your session proposals. Click here to access the form. Complete and return it to gm.workforce@nhs.net by the submission deadline of Friday 26 February.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to drop a message to gm.workforce@nhs.net.
Information on how to attend summit sessions will be shared once the programme has been confirmed.
