HEE: Practice Education Facilitation, eLearning for Health and Simulation

What is it?

Practice Education Facilitators (PEFs) work to ensure provision of high quality learning environments for non-medical healthcare students.

They work in partnership with placement teams, mentors/assessors, students and partner universities to quality assure placements. To make sure students have the best possible experience, they provide guidance, support and learning opportunities and deliver training, updates and ongoing support for mentors and assessors.

PEFs have links with education providers across the North West, Health Education England, the NHS North West Placement Development Network as well as placement providers across the voluntary and private sector.
