Skills for Care: Leadership development programmes

What is it?

Skills for Care’s leadership development programmes are designed to support leaders develop themselves so the highest standards of quality in adult social care can be attained and maintained. 

They’re perfect for social care leaders in varying roles, from managers to directors, who want to develop their leadership skills and learn alongside their peers. 

There are programmes available for:

- aspiring leaders - those looking to take their first steps into a management role and build their leadership capability

- emerging leaders - those in frontline or operational management roles looking to improve and enhance their leadership capability

- establishing leaders - those who are experienced managers and are looking to establish themselves in senior leadership roles

- advancing leaders - those in senior management roles who are looking to advance their leadership capability in a cross-sector care context.
