NHS Employers: Professional Development Strategy
What is it?
The national HR Professional Development Strategy (PDS) supports the development of the NHS HR profession and aims to promote the impact and influence of NHS workforce leaders.
Why do it?
As part of this strategy we have also developed the aspirant director of workforce career development programme, various podcasts and the Director of Workforce Role Remit & Map of Influence. Our latest publication is the PDS end of year report 2018/19, which highlights the activities and deliverables that NHS Employers’ National Engagement Service has supported for the professional development strategy (PDS) work over the last 12 months.
