Networks and Meetings
As well as working with established networks across Greater Manchester, we have also introduced a number of new networks and meetings to support partnership working and promote the sharing of best practice.
Greater Manchester Strategic Workforce Collaborative Board
Meetings of the Greater Manchester Strategic Workforce Collaborative Board take place bi-monthly and provide strategic oversight and leadership to the development and delivery of the GM Health and Social Care Workforce Strategy. The board ensures that the health and social care workforce can support and enable transformational changes to the way in which services are delivered across Greater Manchester. Members of the Board include representatives from health, social care, education and key strategic partners.
Greater Manchester Workforce Collaborative Steering Group
Our Steering Group meets monthly to drive the delivery of the GM Health and Social Care Workforce Strategy. It also provides an opportunity for creative and innovative problem solving through sharing the knowledge, expertise and resources of the partners on the steering group. The Steering Group includes representatives from a range of organisations closely involved in delivering the GM Health and Social Care Workforce Strategy.
Workforce Engagement Forum
This monthly forum is for trade union representatives across Health and Care to meet with management representatives and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership to discuss matters arising from devolution.
