There are five themes in Greater Manchester’s plan to transform health and care in Greater Manchester – (1) radical upgrade in population health and prevention; (2) transforming community based care and support; (3) standardising acute and specialist services to the best evidence; (4) standardising back office and support functions; (5) enabling better care. Work undertaken under all of these themes has workforce implications which we are working together to address.
